SFAR 88 Compliance and Range/Endurance
The aircraft is delivered SFAR 88 compliant with the PATS auxiliary fuel tanks deactivated and removed, as the current aircraft usage does not require the range. The PATS auxiliary fuel tank installation consisted of 8 auxiliary fuel tanks, four in each of the forward and aft cargo compartments, originally provided an approximate 13 hours/6000 nm range. In its current configuration with the tanks deactivated and removed, the aircraft has a range of approximately 9 hours/4000 nm. The aircraft will delivery with the auxiliary fuel tanks as spare equipment should a future owner elect to reinstall
them.
EXTERIOR
The upper fuselage is Matterhorn white separated from the blue lower fuselage by red and black stripes (New 2005).
The aircraft is
hangared.
INTERIOR
In 1996 Associated Air Center converted the interior to a high level VIP configuration accommodating up to 43 passengers (including forward crew lounge) plus two flight deck jump seats and three flight attendant seats.
The interior is finished in a warm and calm color scheme of dark teal green and complementary soft light green hues, a grey/green patterned carpet, with dark burled woodworking. FAR Part 25,852 fireblocking MSA window shades throughout the cabin except for the crew rest area and business sleeper area. A High Definition Video experience is available in the Stateroom and Main Lounge with Boeing Direct Satellite TV system, Airshow, and MPEG 4 receivers.
High speed data is available throughout the aircraft via a 24 port wireless Gig Network Switch.
The Interior layout consists of:
Forward Lounge:
Four place club with fold-out table and overhead storage opposite crew bunk beds.
Forward crew lav.
Passageway
Gives access to the private compartments and main salon.
Master Suite:
The MASTER BEDROOM is accessed through sliding pocket doors, and features a queen-size bed side table, two closets, and an executive work desk with hidden vanity. The Stateroom has its own entertainment system with 16” HD monitor, Blu-Ray player, VHS player, and NewSky CINEMA table top touch panel control.. The MSA windows shades in the Master Bedroom are electric. Cordless Iridium handset.
The MASTER LAVATORY, accessible both from the master bedroom and guest quarters, features a sink with granite countertop, a shower, and toilet.
The adjoining GUEST QUARTERS located aft of the master lav consists of two three place divans, an entertainment center, and a 16” flat screen monitor against the aft bulkhead.
The Main Salon consists of three sections:
A FORWARD LOUNGE with a three place wrap-around divan, coffee table opposite two single club seats with fold-out table.
The main salon entertainment center, features a 57” HD LCD display on the forward bulkhead, a Blue-Ray DVD player, standard DVD player, VHS player , IPOD docking station, Personal Electronics port for carry-on media, CD player, Xbox video game controller and New SkyCINEMA wireless touch control panel. Iridium handset.
A MEETING AREA located mid-section with conference table and flour place double club, opposite a two place single club with folding table.
AFT DINING AREA with a six place dining table opposite a large buffet. The dining table folds out and articulates and is surrounded by three single seats on one side and a three place fabric divan on the other side. A 14” flat screen monitor is located against the aft bulkhead. An additional LCD remote control for the entertainment system is located atop the adjacent cabinet.
Manually operated MSA windows shades are featured throughout the main salon.
Business Compartment
Double pocket doors give entrance to the business compartment which features twelve international first class sleeper seats with 60” pitch, and overhead baggage storage. A 6.5” LCD monitors is located at each seat. Two flight attendant seats fold-down from the forward bulkhead.
Aft Section
The main compartment VIP lavatories are located to the rear of the business compartment.
A large storage area and closet are located between the lavatories and the main galley.
MAIN GALLEY with refrigerator, Microwave oven, upscale airline oven, trash compactor, ample storage, double sink, Corian countertops, and ample storage. Two large storage closets are located just forward of the galley. An additional flight attendant seat is located in the aft galley
AIRCRAFT HISTORY
The Aircraft originally delivered new in June 1991 and was owned by Sterling Airways/Sterling European Airways until its purchase by the present owner in 1995.
It’s conversion to a VIP aircraft, including installation of PATS auxiliary fuel tanks, was completed by Associated Air Center in 1996.
